For pet crematoria

We send you the family already calm, already decided, and already quoted.

Ease The Paw is a coordination service. Families message us when a pet has died and we do the part you do not have time for — the long phone call, the price explanation, the individual-versus-communal conversation, the weight, the address, the reassurance. Then we hand you a booking.

The whole deal, in four lines

Why bother, if we are not paying you

Fair question. Here is the honest version: we are useful to you because of the work that happens before the booking reaches you.

The call is already done

By the time we message you, the family knows the difference between individual and communal, has chosen one, knows roughly what it costs, and has given us the weight, suburb and a contact number. Your driver gets an address and a time, not a twenty-minute conversation.

After hours is covered

Most pets die in the evening or over a weekend. We answer then. If you cannot take the call at 8pm on a Sunday, we hold the family, explain how to keep their pet cool overnight, and book you for the morning — instead of them phoning the next crematorium on the list.

Fewer price arguments

We put your price in writing to the family before collection and we do not mark it up. Nobody is surprised at handover. If your pricing is by weight bracket, we explain the bracket, so the bill matches the expectation.

We chase, so they do not

We follow up with you on the ashes and relay the update to the family. That is one less grieving person phoning your office to ask where their dog is, on a day when you are already on the road.

The 20 keychains

Every partner crematorium gets a free display set: 20 paw print keychains, two of each of the ten colours. They are the same keychains we send our own families — a small lock of the pet’s fur is set inside.

What you do with them is up to you. Most partners keep them at the counter and offer one at handover. Some clip a colour to the urn. Either way, the family walks out holding something rather than only a box.

When you run low, message us and we restock the set. There is no charge, and we do not ask you to sell them. The point is not revenue — it is that a family who leaves your premises with a keychain remembers your name kindly.

What we ask of you

  1. 1A current price list — communal, individual by weight bracket, collection radius and any after-hours surcharge. We quote from it exactly. If it changes, tell us.
  2. 2One number that answers. Whoever books your collections. We are not going to route families to your general line.
  3. 3Confirmation in writing that an individual cremation was individual. A message is enough. We pass it to the family because it is the single thing they most quietly worry about.
  4. 4A heads-up when the ashes are ready. That is it. We handle telling the family.

Straight answers

Are you going to become a competitor?+

No. We do not own a retort and we are not going to. We have no facility, no vehicles and no licence, and we are not raising money to get them. Coordination is the business.

Do you send us work you have already sent someone else?+

No. One family, one crematorium. We choose on area, availability and whether you can collect in the time the family needs — never on price to us, because we take nothing from you either way.

Who holds the family’s money?+

You do, for the cremation. The family pays you directly on your own terms. We invoice them separately for our R500. We never sit between you and your payment.

How many cases can we expect?+

Honestly: we are new, and we would rather tell you that than invent a number. As of now we have completed one case and we are building the network before the volume. If you want to wait until we can show you real figures, that is a completely reasonable thing to do — ask us again in three months and we will show you what actually happened.

What happens to our name on your site?+

Nothing, unless you ask for it. We do not list partner names publicly without written permission, and we do not use your brand in advertising. If you would like to be listed, we are glad to.

Start with a conversation, not a contract

Send us your price list and we will tell you honestly whether we can send you anything useful. If the answer is not yet, we will say so.
