One
The phone calls
The average family phones three or four places before someone answers, and by then they are explaining what happened for the fourth time to a stranger. We make those calls. You make none.
Two
The decision, explained properly
Individual or communal is the only real choice, and nobody explains it well when you are crying. Individual means only your pet, and their ashes come home. Communal means several pets together, and they do not. We tell you what each costs for your pet’s weight and we do not push either.
Three
The written total, before anything happens
You get the crematorium’s actual price and a collection time in writing. No estimate that grows. No surcharge discovered at handover.

The waiting
We chase the crematorium for the ashes and update you. Nobody should have to phone a business and ask where their dog is.
And the keychain
Included, not sold. A paw print keychain in the colour you choose, holding a small lock of your pet’s fur.
It reaches you days before the ashes do, and that gap turns out to matter. The first week after a pet dies is the emptiest, and having something of them in your hand during it is the part families tell us about afterwards.

We are not a crematorium, not a vet, and not an emergency service. We do not provide veterinary care of any kind and we do not advise on whether it is time.

Questions people actually ask
Do you actually do the cremation?+
No. We are a coordination service. We own no facility and no vehicles, and we are not a veterinary practice. The cremation is done by an independent, licensed crematorium who sets their own price and bills you directly.
What we do is find them, book them, agree the price on your behalf, put it in writing, and then stay on it until the ashes are back with you.
What exactly does the R500 cover?+
Two things: the arranging, and the keychain.
The arranging means every phone call, the price negotiation, the collection booking, the written confirmation that an individual cremation was individual, and the follow-up until the ashes are home. The keychain is a paw print keychain in the colour you choose, with a small lock of your pet’s fur set inside, hand-delivered across Gauteng and couriered elsewhere.
10% of the R500 is donated to the SPCA.
So what is my total going to be?+
Our R500, plus whatever the crematorium charges. In practice most families land between R1,700 and R4,000 all in, and the biggest variable is your pet’s weight and whether you want the ashes back.
You get one written total before anything is collected. Not an estimate — the actual number.
Do you mark up the crematorium’s price?+
No, and we take no commission from them either. We have deliberately built it this way so that we have no financial reason to steer you toward a more expensive crematorium or a more expensive option. If communal is right for you, we will say so.
My pet died at the vet. Can you still help?+
Yes. The crematorium collects from your vet instead of from your home. Your vet will usually offer their own cremation arrangement — you are under no obligation to accept it, and you are entitled to ask for your pet to be released to a crematorium of your choosing.
How long until I get the ashes?+
Usually one to two weeks from collection, depending on the crematorium’s route schedule. Some are faster. We follow up with them and tell you, so you never have to phone a crematorium and ask where your pet is.
It is 11pm on a Sunday. Are you actually going to answer?+
Yes. Most pets die in the evening or over a weekend, which is exactly when nobody answers the phone. If a crematorium cannot collect until morning, we will tell you that honestly and explain how to keep your pet comfortable overnight — rather than leaving you phoning down a list.
What if I cannot afford this right now?+
Tell us. Communal cremation is considerably cheaper than individual and is a completely legitimate choice, not a lesser one. If money is genuinely tight, say so in your first message and we will find the cheapest workable option rather than the most profitable one.

We arrange cremations across South Africa. Our partner network is strongest in Gauteng and we are honest on each area page about where coordination is routine and where we source a crematorium case by case. Either way, message us — if we cannot help we will point you at someone who can.
